Olewo Carrots
Olewo Carrots are a 100% natural product made of fresh carrots --
one 2.2 lb box of Olewo Carrots in pellet form is equivalent to
approximately 22 lbs. of fresh carrots. Carrots are rich in carotene
(3.5 oz. of Olewo contains 50 mg. of carotene) and contain valuable
vitamins, minerals, and trace elements which contribute to a well-
balanced canine diet. They also contain oils that promote the
formation of blood cells, build up resistance to infections, aid
metabolic regulation by the liver and thyroid gland, improve the
skin and coat, promote growth, firm up loose stools, and more.
Unfortunately, however, dogs can't digest carrots unless you grind
them into puree. But Olewo takes all the hassle out of feeding
carrots. One tablespoon of Olewo added to 1 cup of warm water will
become 1/2 cup of moist, ground carrots. And your dogs will love
the taste. Olewo is imported from Germany. Serving recommendations

Olewo is quick and easy to prepare. We have found that most dogs will
eagerly lick the bowl clean when given the Olewo Carrots. Olewo is
converted to a soft consistency by soaking for approximately 10 minutes
in warm water. This will mix very easily with your dog's regular ration.
It is recommended that you mix a teaspoon of wheat germ/sunflower oil
with each tablespoon of Olewo. This is to aid in the formation of vitamin A by
combining carotene with oil/fat. If your dog is on a fairly high fat diet
it is not always necessary to add the oil.
Maintenance Usage:
Toy Breeds up to 10 lbs = 1 tsp.
Small Breeds 10 to 25 lbs = 2 tsp.
Med Breeds 25 to 65 lbs = 1 Tbl.
Lg Breeds 65 lbs & over = 1 heaping Tbl.
